Southern Aligned Northern Bean Pilaf

Ingredients
16 (oz)s Dried Great Northern Beans
4 (tbsp)s Vegetable Oil
1 (C) Rice
1 (C) Diced Onion

2 Garlic Cloves

(tbsp)s Tomato Paste
10 Drops Worcestershire Sauce
10 Drops Soy Sauce
1 Cube Beef Bullion
2 (tsp)s Himalayan pink salt
2 (tsp)s Black Pepper
1 (tbsp) Cumin
1 (tbsp) Chili Powder
1 (tbsp) Smoked Paprika
3 (dash)s Cayenne Pepper
Instructions
Rinse beans in a colander.
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add beans and cooked boiled for 2 minutes.
Remove pot from heat and cover. Allow to sit for 90 minutes. Drain and rinse in a colander.
Coat a large skillet with vegetable oil and heat to medium-high heat. Put in carrots, celery, and onion and cook for 5 minutes covered.
Crush garlic cloves and add to the skillet. Cook an additional minute.
Add 2 cups of water, bullion, spices, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce to the skillet. Bring to a boil.
Add rice to the skillet evenly distributed. Add beans and fold them in until thoroughly mixed.
Turn heat on low to allow a simmer and let simmer for 20 minutes covered, stirring every 5 minutes to avoid burning. Serve.
