Salted Nut Bars

Instructions

  1. Blend together all purpose flour, brown sugar, one cup of butter, and a teaspoon of salt.
  2. Press blended ingredients into a 15" X 10" pan.
  3. Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes.
  4. In a small saucepan combine corn syrup, two tablespoons of butter, one tablespoon of water, and the butterscotch chips.
  5. Boil for 2 minutes stirring constantly.
  6. Remove baked crust and sprinkle the mixed nuts over top of it.
  7. Drizzle the syrup in the sauce pan over the nuts.
  8. Bake again at 350° for 10-12 minutes (until golden)
  9. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
