Coat a large skillet with olive oil and bring to medium heat
Add onions, carrots, and celery to the pan. Cook covered for 8 minutes stirring once to avoid burning.
Add a cup and a half of water to the pan and bring mixture to a boil.
While mixture is coming to a boil add seasonings, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Stir and mix well, then cover.
When pan contents are bubbling add rice evenly distributed and drained beans. Mix well and cover. Reduce heat to maintain temperature.
Every 3 minutes or so uncover, mix pan contents well to ensure no rice sticking and burning. Cook for about 15 minutes or until rice texture is cooked to liking. Serve.
