Dice imitation crab meat into tiny bits, put in bowl
Put cream cheese in bowl. Mix a bit with spoon(s)
Add the spices over top of cream cheese mixture. Mix thoroughly. The color of the cream cheese should darken when the spices are thoroughly mixed.
Get another small bowl or cup of water to dip your fingers in
Place single wonton wrapper on a dry surface. Put a dallop of the filling in the center of the wonton. Dip your fingertips slightly in the water. Delicately draw lines down the edges of the square with wet fingertips. Fold two opposite corners together over top of the filling and seal the touching triangles with water. Then fold the other two opposite edges together and seal those triangles. Seal any wet edges together. The filling should be completely encompassed by the wonton wrapper with no unsealed edges.
Delicately and patiently repeat until you are out of filling. Remove deep fryer basket and line it with your wontons.
Heat your deep fryer to between 360°- 375°. Place basket in deep fryer for 3ish minutes aiming for a golden brown color on the wontons
Remove wontons and let cool for a few minutes as the filling can be scalding hot at first. Best enjoyed fresh.
