In a large bowl put ground bison, olive oil, mayonnaise, worcestershire sauce, and spices.
Mix bison gently. It's important to not overwork the meat.
Form bison into 4 patties. Divot the center with your thumb to keep patties from doming. Chill in the fridge for at least 5 minutes to help the patties firm up.
In a pan place slices of bacon and cook until crispy. Remove bacon from the pan and place off to the side.
In the same pan over medium heat cook the bison patties in the residual bacon fat for 3-4 minutes a side.
Place slice of cheese over burger in the last minute to melt.
Remove the patties from the heat and allow them to rest for a short time. Serve with the crispy bacon on top.
