Baked Ziti

(lb)s Ziti Noodles
15 (oz) Ricotta Cheese
2 (C)s Tomato Sauce

(C)s Shredded Mozzarella
3 (oz)s Parmesan Cheese
1 (tsp) Black Pepper
1 (tsp) Italian Seasoning
1 (tsp) Parsley (dried)
2 Garlic Cloves
1 (lb) Cooked Ground Beef or Italian Sausage (optional)
Instructions
Get a pot of heavily salted water boiling. Boil ziti noodles for approximately 9 minutes. Noodles should be al dente.
Drain noodles with a colander.
Mix together the noodles, ricotta cheese, and about half of the shredded mozzarella. Optionally add a bit of parmesan.
Season mixture with crushed/diced garlic, pepper, parsley, and Italian seasoning.
Grease casserole dish and place a layer of sauce in the bottom (about 1 cup)
Add half of the ziti mixture over top of the sauce.
(Optional) If using meat, add the meat in a layer over top of the ziti.
Add half of the remaining sauce over top as a layer
Add the rest of the ziti mixture over top as a layer.
Add the remaining sauce over top as a layer.
Add the remaining mozzarella as a layer over the top. Sprinkle parmesan over top.
Bake uncovered at 350° for 35 minutes.
