Bacon Cheeseburger Egg Rolls

  1. Cut bacon into very small bits
  2. Dice the quarter of an onion as finely as reasonable
  3. Turn a pan to medium heat, combine ground beef, bacon bits, and onion. Spice with seasonings and stir occasionally.
  4. When the meat is almost cooked remove the pan from heat. Keep in mind this filling will be fried later so it's best if it's not cooked completely at this stage.
  5. Place meat and onion mixture in a container that can be cooled quickly. Refrigeration up to overnight is acceptable to cool the filling.
  6. When filling is cooled get out egg roll wrappers and set deep fryer to 375°
  7. To wrap the egg rolls, place them in a diamond shape with the tip pointed towards you. Place about 1-2 table spoons (tbsp) of meat horizontally in the center. Sprinkle shredded cheddar on top of the meat.
  8. Using a bowl of water wet your fingertips and draw along the edges of the egg roll wrapper. Starting by folding the corners on the left and the right towards the center with triangle tips touching. Then roll over the top of the wrapper to form an envelope shape. Then roll the wrapper towards the bottom and seal any edges with water.
  9. Fry for 5-6 minutes or until golden and crispy. Cool and serve with your favorite burger sauces like Mustard, Ketchup or BBQ sauce.
